Design solar systems in your browser.

Pin a location, lay out the roof in 3D, and get probabilistic yield and ROI in minutes. No installs, no spreadsheets, no guesswork.

South slope · 18 deg tilt
4.0 kWp · 10 modules
Annual yield · P10-P90
4.6-5.3 MWh

Three ways into a bankable layout.

Designer starts simple when the question is "is solar worth it?" and gets detailed when the question is "what should we build?".

Quick estimate

Drop a pin, choose a panel count and household profile, then get an instant yield, savings and payback range.

New build

Author the building from templates or custom roof surfaces, set tilt and azimuth, then place panels around constraints.

Retrofit

Start from a real address, satellite imagery and roof geometry where available, with manual correction for existing buildings.

From roof model to simulation output.

The app keeps the design geometry connected to the energy model: surfaces, obstacles, panels, strings, load and tariffs become one simulation request.

Detailed enough for engineers, fast enough for sales.

Designer is a guided editor, not a blank CAD surface. The roof is editable, but every edit stays attached to energy and financial outputs.

  • Surface-based roofs — flat, gable, hip, shed and composite templates produce PV-capable faces with tilt, azimuth and edges.
  • Obstacle-aware layout — chimneys, trees, HVAC units and custom shapes feed the heatmap and panel optimizer.
  • String-aware arrays — panels are grouped by mount plane and orientation so inverter constraints stay visible.
  • Simulation-ready exports — the same request shape can feed BREOS, JSON exports and customer reports.

Built around the data solar design actually needs.

The current Designer app combines browser interaction with a simulation path that can be inspected, exported and improved.
